Comey also stated, "all other cases that were prosecuted involved intentional/willful mishandling of information. How does Comey think that classified information ended up on a private server? That IS willful intent because it has to be physically removed from systems.
Kristian Saucier was prosecuted over several photos he took to show his children of the submarine where he worked. Yet, he was given a prison sentence & nobody involved with HRC's case was even fined.
Senior government officials get nothing or a slap on the wrist for mishandling classified information, but many US troops that mishandled classified information weren't given such leniency.
The law should be applied equally regardless of duty position, rank, or other classification. There shouldn't be one standard for the political elite and then another standard for the rest that have access to classified information.
