I wish Twitter would provide some way to reach out to the person behind a handle.

I just want a button that says "I'm interested in this username" and the owner of it could get a DM about it and decide if they want to respond.
But as of now, there's absolutely no way to get in touch when I'd bet a significant % of folks don't even remember they have a given username and would happily part ways with it.
Then again, we can't get a freaking edit button, so I won't get my hopes up. 😕
Side note, if I happen to know anyone at @twitter that could help get a username that was created nearly 10 years ago, follows no one and has never made a single post...I'd love to chat. 🙂

Was looking into a way to let you @-mention @lasertweets in response to a tweet and have it auto-generate the URL for you...but everything I'm reading says that's against Twitter TOS.
I *think* I'd have to build a whole system where you have to grant permission to a "Laser Tweets" app, and then monitor your account for "@lasertweets" mentions from you and then basically DM you the URL.
Regardless, it's wayyyy more hassle than I imagined it'd be.

This almost feels like something where there some be a hosted service that already handles most of this.

I tried Zapier, but no go (thanks to the Twitter TOS).

1/ Understanding why customers cancel may be one of the most frustrating parts of building a company.

Asking users during the cancellation process why they're cancelling can be really useful, but data is only as useful as the action you take on it.
2/ Lots of SaaS companies have a simple form on their cancellation page that asks the users why they're cancelling...but almost nobody does anything with the data.

It may get piped in to a spreadsheet somewhere or sent to someone's inbox, but then it just fades away.
3/ In addition, even if you're collecting reasons, knowing which reasons to pay attention to is many times nearly impossible.

Sure, maybe most people are cancelling b/c "It's too expensive", but is that actually who's causing the most lost revenue?

“I wouldn't know where to find products”

Start with Aliexpress. Any product you find there can be sold on your store.
“Why would people buy products from my website over Aliexpress?"

First off, your average consumer does not know Aliexpress exists.

Second, your website should make it feel like you're shopping on a real ecommerce website... because, well, you are a real ecommerce website.

alright, email etiquette thread 101
please keep in mind: this is from the perspective of someone who receives hundreds of emails WEEKLY. on multiple platforms and accounts. I’m only giving my input on what it’s like whenever you email someone who is busy who tons of emails all the time
alright this is one I used to be SO GUILTY of, but get to the point quickly. And by quickly I mean the first 3-4 sentences of an email. Save the life story/meatier more detailed parts of the email for the very end, OR wait until the person responds before you give too much info

We tell everyone, leave your own tweets at the top when you log off. Not just your pinned tweet, your current stuff. I usually hit the top two in my mentions. This is free advertising. In weird twitter it's currency

Buffer is a great tool for scheduling tweets. There are a ton of apps that let you post to multiple platforms but with Buffer the posts don't go out at the same time. You can also schedule tweets at optimum times based on your when your followers are online
