As someone who worked w DOJ leaders for 18 yrs on prickly employment issues (and as someone who worked w Bruce), I don’t think this is a poor reason to reassign someone. This is particularly true when you work in a leadership office. If WH didn’t want Bruce, he’s less effective.
For folks who follow me, you know I believe that the POTUS and R attacks on Bruce are completely unacceptable, particularly because he is career. But the bottom line is that in the government if you are SES as Bruce is, you can be reassigned. If Rod or Sessions reassigned Bruce/2
Because he’s lost his efficacy w getting DOJ work done because the WH is not ok with him, then that is technically legit. I have seen SES moved around for less than that. I am more concerned that they are lambasting him publicly and singling him out. That is to me the big sin.END
