1/2. If the Yuan-Gold peg theory is correct, China is killing the paper Gold market by ice, not fire i.e. by pushing to extremis the paper Gold price suppression. Keeping Gold cheap in Yuan,it ensures physical demand is unaffected/increases in the East.
2/2. This increases pressure on the Banking Cartel to deliver the same or greater amount of physical at ever lower $ prices, when in fact they hoped that decimation of the Yuan and EM "colony" currencies against $ will lead to demand destruction of physical.
3/2. From this we can deduce there may be some China backed players short in Western paper gold markets. Which is why the Cartel Banks are now forced to go long. At a time of their choosing, these China backed players will start covering their shorts.
4/2. They will be the first to cover thus minimizing their losses but they will ignite a massive short-covering in their wake, which might be just the spark the dry tinder that is the Gold market today needs to finally explode!
5/2. How many bull markets have been launched by shorts' covering? I presume almost all of them, because players tend to overstay their welcome. The last shorts at the end of a bear always start the bull.
