We sent FOIA requests for Public Records to the 7 OH12 counties requesting copies of the ballots from the Special Election on August 7, 2018 1/ 
We sent follow-up requests in Sept 2018 where we tried to be more specific:
1.Copies of all reports generated by any and all touchscreen machines (and/or scanners, if those were used) at the precincts by the DREs. These are known as the poll tapes, example attached. 2/

2. Any and all cast vote record export(s). Example attached.
3. The electronic files with digital images of the cast ballots, which presumably were generated by the scanners. These should not cost anything to prepare, as they should already exist in the machine. 3/

This is the response to our FOIA request for public documents that we received from Delaware County, OH, in response to our request above for copies of ballots (digital or hard copies) and any precinct poll tapes and export reports from DREs and or Image scanners. 6/
This was the initial response from Muskingum County. As soon as we have their response from the follow-up we will post that.
Here the initial Delaware County response, following our first FOIA request for Digital ballots copies or reports exported from the DRE machines. In follow-up, we attached samples of reports generated by machines they use in the OH12 counties, so they would understand.
