1. For those still thinking Cruz is in trouble in TX let me remind you of real results of the primary just 5 months ago.
Cruz got 1.317 million votes to Betos 641,000. Cruz by himself defeated the entire Dem field. (Combined the dems only got 1.04 million)

2. Texas is also electing a govenor this year. A very popular gov. This will mean the GOP will come out to vote. The Texas primaries had 1.5 million GOP voters to 1.0 million Dem voters.
3. The turnout for the primaries was devestating for the Dems. The Dems can't win in a red state with that type of turnout by the GOP in primaries. Their hope for a win was a higher turnout among the Dems and a lower turnout by the GOP. They didn't get that.
4. There was no blue wave in the primaries in TX. If anything there was a red wave. So fast forward 5 months, what has changed? Oh yeah the economy has gotten better, the tax cuts are seen to be working, Trump's approval has increased esp in the GOP, the Dems are more insane.
5. Knowing all of this what would give anyone an idea that Cruz is in trouble in TX? Trump won the state by 9%.
6. The Dems took everyone and the kitchen sink to vote in the primaries. They doubled their 2014 primary voter turnout. The GOP increased their turnout by 14% and the Dems still lost by 500k votes. It was a massive defeat for the Dems.
7. Texas is a red state. The indies would have to break hard for the dems to even have a chance at winning the Cruz race. Indies don't break hard away from a party giving them a booming economy, stable state gov and the things they voted for.
8. Cruz has voted with the President pretty much 100% of the time. He isn't a Flake or a McCain. Other than his stupid convention speech the voters who voted for him in 2012 in have zero reason to be upset about.
9. If I had to bet Cruz will probably do better in 2018 than he did in 2012. So, besides some fake polls and a fake media what evidence is there that Cruz is in trouble? What evidence is there that the GOP is in trouble in TX?
