/ A few years ago I saw a job advert and thought that looks exciting.

My current job is very good but I find my boss a bit annoying. And maybe I can earn a bit more and become the boss at the new place
/ So I contacted the recruiter who told me this is my dream job, great pay, more control, better work/ life balance.
/ Sounds good I thought so I went for an interview and my prospective told me the same as the recruiter.
/ The next day I was offered the job. I was excited and asked for more detail over the hours I would work, the pay and other terms and where I would fit in the organisation
/ Don’t worry about all that said the recruiter. We can sort all that out when you leave the old place. The main thing is you hand in your notice so you can start working your notice period
/ But I don’t have the details of my pay or job title or responsibilities. Nor do I have it all written down in a firm contract offer that I can evaluate I say
/ Don’t worry said the recruiter. This is a great opportunity. All the detail will be worked out. It will be fine. Trust me. And if it isn’t we can just sort it out right?
/ Well I was not sure at that stage. I mean the job sounded great but there was nothing concrete. They could not even tell me what I would earn.
/ So while I was sorely tempted by the shiny new job it did not look right so I decided against it.
/ Today I know I made the right decision. But dear Twitter readers do you think I should have not been such a scaredy cat and just got on with it?
