News reports and social media are flooded with stories about Keith Ellison, Duke Lacrosse, UVA, Anita Hill, and even Monica Lewinsky. All irrelevant to next week’s hearing. It’s about the deeds and character of one man who could serve on SCOTUS for 30 years: Brett Kavanaugh.
Of course I have been demanding an investigation of the Ellison allegations, but that has nothing to do with Kavanaugh. Right wingers keep bringing that up to attack Democrats instead of staying on topic. This is about confirmation of a Justice not a Minnesota congressman.
Furthermore almost all of the cases being brought up involve true or false allegations involving adults. If any other cases are relevant to this inquiry it is the cases involving adults who were assaulted as children. Child victims in particular do not come forward for years.
