On this morning’s Daily, @DouthatNYT gets to, mostly unchallenged, posit Ed Whelan’s libelous attempt to give Kavanaugh cover as good faith action. No discussion of his links to official confirmation effort, that he started scoping CBF on Linked In before her name was public etc.
I think it is important to gain insight about what Conservatives think, of course, but not in the doing to allow epic levels of spin to go unchallenged, dressed up in some pseudo intellectual therapy talk.
Also no mention that @DouthatNYT was one of the first/most influential people to give Whelan’s Zillowgate libel a megaphone
Also should listeners have been told that @mikiebarb and @DouthatNYT were prep school friends who founded a paper together? On another topic, maybe irrelevant, but on this one, where cultural biases are being discussed?
