why is marxism (economic and cultural) such a powerful mind-virus? here’s one guess at an explanation. (thread)
the mimetic kernel of marxism is not viewing ppl first as individuals, but instead as members of classes.
society is not: “rich people and poor people (and middle class people)"
but: “the rich vs. the poor”

framing something as a war encourages people to pick a side. however, what’s the most rational move in a war you’re not sure exists?
easy: neutrality.

the rich already control all the standard means of fighting the war: the gov, the media, the businesses, the resources, the connections.
the rich are not only winning, but they are winning *so thoroughly* that to be neutral is to be *actively working for their side*, since everything you consider neutral has been set up by the rich, for the rich.

jesus said you were either gathering with him or scattering. marx may have disdained christianity, but created believers any prophet would be jealous of.
in a believe system that auto-resolves to extremism, uncertainty is literally unthinkable. try telling a christian you’re only 2% sure eternal torment awaits you, so you’re not going to worry about it too much. rest assured, the e.v. calculation yields n-a-n by design.
likewise, “i believe women have been subjugated throughout history” autocorrects to intersectionality. swallow one marxist pill, swallow them all – or the terf wars ensue.

anyhow, do you know more people who are far-left than moderately-left, yet the reverse on the right? well, this is my guess as to why.
