By my count we're down to five officially undecided. Collins, Murkowski, Tester, Manchin, Heitkamp. Two GOP, three Dem. Three women, two men.

(Tester voted no on Gorsuch, and he's unlikely to be the vote to put Kavanaugh over the top. The other four are the ones everyone's on the edge of their seats over.)
Tester (D-MT) is a no, as many expected. Four undecideds left. Three of them are women.

Both of the Dems who are still undecided are up for re-election this year in red states. Manchin has a comfortable lead in his re-election campaign. Heitkamp's race is much closer—538 gives her about a 57% chance of winning.

A weird tack for a guy whose whole pitch is his elder-statesman avuncularity to take. "I don't want to run, but all the kids in the race are crap, so here I am" is the opposite of the tone I'd have expected him to set.
Just a reminder that his instincts for primary-race messaging have never been any good, I guess.
"We have a great, deep field, and I'm honored to be running alongside this crew. Whichever of us wins the nomination would be a far better president than Trump, and if it's not me, I'll be working night and day to be sure they get to prove it" is Biden's natural lane right now.

One more thing on youth voting: There are a lot of folks in my mentions saying kids aren’t cognitively developed enough to vote. But it’s not clear to me what that means.
At 12, the typical kid is more than able to meet baseline standards for voting—understanding what an election is, learning about candidates, managing the act of voting.
When we bar kids from making choices they’re not mature enough to make, it’s generally because we’re worried that they’ll do harm to themselves or others if allowed to choose.

Just saw something on my feed that reminded me to remind you that if you’re a NYC (or vicinity) high school or middle school teacher and you’d like me to come talk to your students, all you have to do is say so and I’ll be there.
I've spoken with NYC middle school students about the history of youth activism, how they can make change themselves, whether we should lower the voting age—all sorts of stuff. And the conversations are always really lively.
And because it's so much fun, and because it's a subway ride away, and because I know that y'all don't have budgets for this stuff, I'm happy to do it for free. So shoot me a message if you want to set it up.

There was too much info to type for each, so I've put it into photos. Only one member of the five listed on this page wasn't compromised. The other four are all Democrats that have made political donations to a DNC Candidate (including Hillary and Obama)!

Coincidence? NOPE! I found the same on this page of six investigators. All but one are Democrats and have made donations to a Democratic candidate. Weissmann actually was at Hillary's HQ on election night! FYI... 14 Democrats & 3 independents. NO GOP MEMBERS AT ALL!

Problem w #SusanCollins's evidentiary standard for sex assault claims - in vast majority of cases, only two are present. In many older cases, there isn't contemporaneous corroborating testimony, just friends, family, therapists who can attest as to when vic first disclosed. 1/
#BelieveWomen is trite, unconstitutional nonsense. We can't simply believe everything every woman claims now becs women & girls' reports too often haven't been taken seriously. We just need to take reports seriously. Which requires investigation in order to build a case vs perp 2
We need to safeguard due process, becs each of us will need it if/when we're accused of violating a law. And no, a mere allegation, w/out more, can't be enough to find guilt. Some people make false claims for malicious purpose. It happens. 3/

1. Listen up @GOP @HouseGOP @SenateGOP! My entire life, every time #GOP takes control they break the economy. Every. Time. Clearly you don't learn from your mistakes, or just cave to the disgusting 'party over country' battle cries. Pay attention - this is why you fail.
2. Two consistent platform features push diametrically against each other. An adherence to the failed 'Trickle Down Economics' model & Deregulation. Your core desire for small government will result in failure of your economic plan every time. The #GOPTaxScam will be disasterous.
3. Your model fails because you stack the deck for those at the top and then sit back touting your laissez-faire foundation, just hoping your 'plan' is going to magically happen in a socially beneficial way - and, repeatedly, it doesn't. Why not?
