Need to flesh this out in an op-ed, but one of the reasons we're seeing this upheaval is because generations have now been raised in the self-esteem culture, that everyone is a winner. What those generations on the Left are struggling w/ is getting smacked in the face. . .
By the sobering reality of what the real world looks like: there are winners and there are losers. People that have been taught they’re all winners throw temper tantrums when they realize they’re losers, that they actually lost. . .
At least part of what we’re seeing here is infantile behavior of the Left throwing one of the greatest political tantrums over losing in 2016 and all the implications of that loss, including losing their precious SCOTUS and I do believe there is an element of the self-esteem. . .
Culture at play. People have asked, how do we get to normal, how do we stop tearing ourselves apart? Well I think we’ve got massive issues in regards to loss of commonality, from cultural norms to right & wrong to how words are defined. But a first step towards some normalcy. . .
Is for the Left to admit they lost Fair and square in 2016, that Donald Trump is the duly elected President of the United States, that their Russian conspiracy theories are in fact just that, and that Trump’s election has consequences. If the Left refuses to accept that . . .
They are rejecting Constitutional order and virtually all of our traditions, including peaceful transfer of power, that have made us the longest lasting constitutional republic in the history of the world. If they don’t want to accept those traditions & it’s becoming clear. . .
That they don’t, they need to be open and honest about it; be honest about that they want a new legal system, a new form of government, new traditions. Stop the masquerade.
