Listened to a youtube chat with @chrisiousity @vadimnewquist @kflogan and Kristi Winters on the 2018 #mythcon conference. Some thoughts on that. First off there was an overall tone of surprise that some of the `Shitlords in attendance at a party were actually nice people.

Honestly, so what? This kind of thing goes back years to people saying that Ann Coulter was really a nice person privately. Some trans people questioned me how trans-friendly @barackobama was back when he was POTUS.

I said at the time it didn't matter if he even hated trans people privately, it's what he did publicly that mattered.

The same goes for what @kflogan refers to as grifters. IMO, mythcon is a grifters conference. It doesn't matter what they believe in private (or how they act) but what they're selling in public that matters.
