If you read the transcripts of SJC questioning of Kavanaugh over time, you will see a man increasingly incredulous and angry at what's happening. The idea he decided to yell at Senators who put nonsense rape allegations in the record against him to appease Trump is just dumb.
You may think a man should be poised and calm when it is now a permanent part of the record of the United States Senate that he allegedly ran gang rape parties when he's fifteen, but (1) you don't know many judges and (2) you're arguing he needs to be a sociopath.
I can't help feeling like I'm living at the intersection of two barely-coterminal universes, in one of which, a man is entitled to roar at people accusing him for political gain of terrible crimes, and another in which all judges are androids who only have emotions in private.
