Today I received an email from @DExEUgov one that reads like it comes from a parallel universe. A universe where negotiations are going well. One in which no deal is very unlikely, relationships are cordial and all is just lovely.

1/ Dept ex EU response to petition to remain if no deal can be agreed:

3/ We have been having regular discussions with the EU on the future framework, outlining our positions on a wide range of topics covering the future security partnership and the future economic partnership and we remain confident of reaching agreement on the Withdrawal Agreement
