I think it should be noted here in no uncertain terms, when a genocide was unleashed against Iraqi Yezidi, Jeremy Corbyn's official policy position was to refuse the military assistance that ultimately saved their community from total extermination.
Military intervention is difficult, dangerous & has a cost in blood. But sometimes those decisions need to be made to protect human life. The decision to intervene to save Iraq's Yezidi population was justified. To praise a survivor after refusing to help save her life is galling
