Lost in the debate on the exact number of Brexit voters that hold racist views, is the fact that as a political project Brexit IS racist. From one day to the next millions of people from EU countries will become subject to border controls, 10,000s risk becoming undocumented. 1/

Just read that Gordon Brown column. Dear god it’s infuriating. A couple of things annoying me...
I know its a small thing, but his description that the ScotGov child poverty analysis was a "little known paper" is inferring, as much as I can guess from the tone of the piece, that its somehow secretive/hidden? It was published by the SG here: news.gov.scot/news/tackling-…
I remember at the time it getting pretty good media coverage (I presume because the SG sent it out to the press in a press release) because I thought “I’m glad that analysis got good coverage” – simply because it points out the HUGE task the SG faces in tackling child poverty.
