@elonmusk By now you are probably well aware of the MASSIVE fail that is the UI update in v9.

As a dev, I just don't quite know what your UIX guys were thinking with some of these changes. In part, it's worse than WIN7->WIN8 Start menu fiasco.

Taking away functionality is BAD

@elonmusk NO plausible reason for removing the ability to kill nav UI completely. Most people don't need or want it on constantly. It's not rocket science to retain functionality that JUST WORKS. Probably unknown to your UIX guys, there ARE people who WANT control of ALL the screens.

Also, there ARE people who want control of the rear camera screen and prefer it to the nav screen. Now control over that is gone too.

Situational awareness in ANY advanced vehicle is important & saves lives. It's the reason we have THREE mirrors in cars. Cams IMPROVE on that.

Please have a chat with the UIX guys. They CAN restore the ability to move and position the screens, while feeding data individually to each one as before.
