It's what's in-between your desires and your achievements.
It's the distance between where you are now to where you want to be.
The GAP is ever present in your life, in everyone's life, including
mine.
You want to go from A - B as quickly as possible. How do you do that?
By using inputs, which then combined in a variety of ways leads to an
output.
What are the inputs?
put yourself in a state of readiness to get the output you want.
Everything which I will collectively call: information.
So you take information (inputs) and you hope it gives you the RESULTS
you are after (output).
They link having information directly to getting the results they want.
They think, as long as I have more information, then the quality and
quantity of my results will be better.
some more, and then some more. They keep consuming until they hit a point where they are now fully consumed with "Bright Shiny Object" Syndrome, where anything new is thought to be what will get you over the hump.
Because there's the GAP still. The GAP is what happens with the information you already have, how you use it, how you update it, how you tweak it to fit your particular situation, and so on.
output (results) you get.
So sure inputs are important. But the GAP is more important.
"The GAP" is: time, it's effort, it's hustle, it's patience, it's process.
is where all the magic happens.
So the secret to success isn't so much how much input you consume, it's
what you do it it that counts.
