On to how protect gun rights while also preventing gun violence? Cunningham: "Common sense" gun safety legislation, comprehensive background checks, no bump stocks. Arrington: Bulletproof doors at schools, SRO officers on school grounds.
Arrington also touts her "A" rating from the NRA
Arrington says she'll "be at the table," with President Trump while Cunningham will "be on the menu."
Cunningham says he's not taking PAC money or special interest money, but says Arrington is. She responds by saying he is taking Nancy Pelosi's laundered money
Cunningham again says Arrington has taken PAC money from "big oil." He also mentions that her campaign treasurer worked as a lobbyist for BP
On marijuana legalization - Arrington says she supports medicinal marijuana and thinks it should be a schedule II narcotic. Cunningham supports legalizing medical marijuana too, but doesn't think it should be a schedule II. Thinks recreational use should be a state one
Arrington says American needs to build the wall
Cunningham says we need smart and tough border security. Not security that looks tough, but is actually tough
During this debate, Arrington says she wants to represent the entire district and said she can work across the aisle. Cunningham says her comments about her "team" winning and her ad about this race being a battle of "good vs. evil," imply otherwise
Arrington again mentions her close ties to Pres. Trump. Says that if she disagrees with him, she won't bash him on Facebook, she can call him up
On climate change - Arrington says "climate is always changing." She says she's not a scientist, so she can't tell you how much of an impact humans have, but she thinks they have some impact.
