Watching ghouls like Howard Dean frantically squeeze a horrible crime for political points should nauseate Americans of all political stripes. The Dems won't get better until you force them to get better by voting against them.
That it's the party of Farrakhan and Sharpton exploiting murder at a synagogue is just hypocritical icing on the cake. In a sense, it's nothing personal, because Democrats don't see *people* at all. They see groups, voting blocs, and piles of campaign money.
Democrats rub shoulders with a guy who refers to Jews as "termites" one day, and then point at the guy with a Jewish son-in-law who took the firmest stand against Palestinian terrorism against Jews in American history and scream "anti-Semitism!" the next.
Democrats will spend years howling about the sinister evil of the Koch brothers (while taking Tom Steyer's money) and then scream that it's illegal to criticize George Soros or even notice what he's doing. Nothing personal, just business for them.
Ironically, Democrat leaders have to become emotionless ghouls precisely because their ideology is driven entirely by emotional manipulation. They're like drug dealers that dare not sample their own product. You can't direct a stampede if your heart longs to join the stampede.
And for all the Democrat talk about "dehumanization," nothing is more dehumanizing than the identity politics they are obsessed with. They can't see individual people because only group dynamics and political solidarity matter to them.
Democrats are totalitarian to the core - that is, they believe every single aspect of life must be politicized or milked for political advantage - so they immediately slot every event into preconstructed narratives that leave no room for individual humanity.
The flowchart for the Democrat response to EVERYTHING begins with a yes/no decision diamond labeled, "Does this help us politically?" The really clumsy Dems, like Howard Dean, will show you the flowchart during interviews with extra-friendly media.
Dems very obviously believe it's a huge WEAKNESS of Repubs that they don't think this way. They don't snap into instant response patterns in perfect unison. They make concessions to Dem political narratives under media pressure or because they mistakenly think it fosters unity.
And of course, Dems count very heavily on the media helping them build political narratives, even the most shameless ones. They wouldn't be exploiting the synagogue shooting with such reckless abandon if they thought reporters might call them on it.
And they wouldn't be so confident they can turn the tide of the "Jobs Not Mobs" election in a single news cycle if they couldn't count on the media to completely forget two years of increasingly hostile Dem rhetoric and behavior and give them a blank slate to scribble on. /end
