We don't talk about love enough. When was the last time I said, "I love America" in public? That's why I love @realDonaldTrump , he came up with the plan to save America. Let's drown today's hate with love and see what happens.
But what about the anger, the sense of loss, the horrifying fear for the future that can be overwhelming? What about the rage against the evils that have settled in and grown into disease and destruction? No simple bromide can cover all that. We must stand and fight.
The two, love and rage, are far more closely connected than is often spoken about. Jilted love turns into rage. The rage that makes us stand and fight is often fueled and driven by love. You'll never hear me opine against rage, we need it to awaken from our long sleep.
Yet, I will always rank love as the higher value. So, in my political world, I have a new mantra: hate socialism, but love socialists. I detest socialism with a burning hatred, and have pledged to defeat it.
I've never been to war, but I've been told that it is 100% possible to love your enemy, even as you fight to the death. I will fight socialism to its death, because I love America and our freedoms. And when I return from battle, I will grieve the pain and loss.
But I know that the only way through is rooted in love. When you find it, you find peace as well, even if just peace between the moments. I think we're going to win on 6 Nov, 2018, but the joy of fighting on, for love, with its strength inside will comfort me if I'm wrong.
And I say again, I love America. I love @realDonaldTrump. I love his plan to save America. I love #MAGA. And I intend to do my all for:
