It has been a crazy and exciting journey, and I can't wait for what's coming next...
The best part of all this for me is to see The Colour of Time being perceived and received as the serious HISTORY book that it is. Seeing a massive illustrated book achieving so many incredible things is remarkable and makes me very proud. This book is like a treasure to me.
We spent two years perfecting the tiniest details to ensure that the book would have the standard of quality that it has; also thanks to the incredible job done by the @HoZ_Books team.

Amelia Earhart was declared dead #OnThisDay in 1939.

She was the first female aviator to fly solo across the Atlantic Ocean.

Earhart was the daughter of Samuel "Edwin" Stanton Earhart and Amelia "Amy". She was born in Atchison, Kansas, in the home of her maternal grandfather, Alfred Gideon Otis, who was a former federal judge, the president of the Atchison Savings Bank.
According to family custom, Earhart was named after her two grandmothers, Amelia Josephine Harres and Mary Wells Patton. From an early age, Amelia was the ringleader while her sister Grace Muriel Earhart (1899–1998), two years her junior, acted as the dutiful follower.

One of my favorite quotes of all time: when Julia Child, who did more than anyone to make cooking accessible to everyday people, said, "The more I cook, the more I like to cook."

There's a lot to unpack in this seemingly simple quote. Let me try to explain why I love it so much.
Most people don't know this, but Julia Child was _not_ a natural at cooking and discovered it rather late in life. She was self-conscious due to her height (6'2"), played sports in college, and majored in history. She began her career as a copywriter in New York.
She said of herself at the time, "I am sadly an ordinary person... with talents I do not use." She didn't enjoy her job as a writer and felt that her talents were going to waste.

Today is the punyathithi of C.V.Raman, one of the greatest Indian scientists of the modern era. The first Indian to win a Nobel in Science, and the only Indian citizen too. A genius who was more than a mere scientist, a brilliant thinker and one of the greats of modern India.
Chandrashekhar Venkata Raman, or C.V.Raman was also the first Asian to get the Nobel Prize in Science, for his Raman Effect, which experimentally demonstrated that the light-quanta and molecules do exchange energy which manifests itself as a change in the colour.
And it was not just physics, he published around 475 papers on topics ranging from astronomy to metereology to physiology. Raman's work on the mridangam, bought to light the accoustical knowledge possesed in ancient India.

I’ve been waiting 3 and a half years to post this particular story because it’s one that is dear to me. Originally I had posted this back in April, but due to the privacy laws here in UT that protect children who are in states custody, I was asked to take it down
Until today. But before I continue, I want to start from the beginning:

March 2012: My wife and I had met in Arizona while she was attending Arizona State University and I was playing football for Mesa Community College.
As time passed on, my wife eventually dated and after a year, decided that we wanted to be married. I can’t tell you enough how much I loved this woman and on the daily, thanked God for her and all she was.
