The Adam Smith Institute is one of the "9 entities" that TaxPayers Alliance conceded last week conducted a smear campaign against @shahmirUK via @bbc & other media. It admitted it was unlawful & discriminatory due to Shahmir's "philosophical belief in the sanctity of democracy"
Read @johnmcdonnellMP's comments here. He has demanded inquiry into the funding of these dark money organisations & that @bbc & other media label these organisations "lobbyists" not "think tanks". No response from BBC

To refresh your memory, @shahmirUK's evidence led to Vote Leave being referred to the Met police for multiple criminal offences. Vote Leave's campaign director is married to deputy editor of Spectator. Of which Neil is chairman.
But what about the Marr show? Why did this happen? Why zero BBC coverage of @shahmiruk's revelations?
Is it reasonable to wonder if this man put in a call? The ex-editor of Marr show. Who's now PM's spin doctor. And close colleague of Stephen Parkinson, the PM's political secretary. And Vote Leave director. Who outed @shahmiruk....Via the PM's spin doctor

I've seen C4's Brexit: An Uncivil War...& it's a brilliant, compelling drama. James Graham, the writer, captures the campaign's dark toxic heart & Cumberbatch delivers a stand-out performance. But it also whitewashes the deeply serious criminal offences we know were committed..

And @MattGarrahan, Tony Hall has now put @ft into an embarrassing position because you accepted his word and repeated it as fact which it's not so you'll need to add a clarification to this.
This is why it matters, Tony Hall. @afneil's casual misogyny opened a door for others. It gave them permission to abuse me & other women and a language to do it in. The BBC by failing to act implicitly endorsed it. And now, with this erroneous statement you've compounded it again

Media is very upset Kavanaugh said the smear campaign against him is partially fueled by Democrats’ rage at losing the 2016 election. They now say he showed himself to be too partisan to sit on the bench.

The same people cheered RBG when she attacked Trump by name in July 2016.
The obvious difference is that Kavanaugh has been falsely accused of some of the most heinous crimes and is defending himself, while RBG just couldn't resist attacking the Republican in an ongoing presidential election campaign.
Oh, and she's a sitting Supreme Court justice.

Last week, Rep Jay Lawrence complained about having to👂to testimony about "pads & tampons & the problems of periods" for incarcerated women. This week, Rep TJ Shope refuses to give #HB2222 a hearing. Now what? Now, we make our voices heard. #LetItFlow THREAD
So, what's HB2222 all about? Currently, incarcerated women in AZ get 12 free pads each month. They must ask an officer if they need more. If they want tampons, they must buy them. To afford to purchase a box of tampons, a woman has to work up to 27 hours at $.15 per hour. /2
However, if blood stains a prisoner's pants, she is given a ticket for being out of dress code, which could result in her losing the ability to purchase store items, such as tampons and pads. /3
