Frustrated by the endless speculation on the political machinations, I keep wishing front pages would compare the false promises made in 2016 to what’s now available & possible.

The language of “bullying” by @DominicRaab on the front page of the ST comes from a leading proponent of a Brexit plan which promised the earth.

Now, unable to deliver his promises, he resorts to promoting the image of poor, underdog Britain. It’s always the Europeans’ fault.

These are the same Brexit crowd who tell us Britain will prosper doing trade deals with the rest of the world, easily.

So, everyone else will roll over & give us what we want but the EU, whose plans have been transparent & available for all to see, are “predatory..dark forces”?

It’s a good day to remind ourselves that Raab is someone who has spent years trying to implement an extreme right wing project, including Britain abandoning European Convention of Human Rights (which he failed to do). Here’s a sketch I made earlier:
