In the question of morality (Good & Evil), many see the delineation as either a straight line or a blur. For majority it is the latter. When dealing with people who have spent the last ten years seeking how to bring you down without success, you must be disciplined.
Regardless of the acronym they hide under, the political class is what it is. I know my place. However much I fit, I know I don’t belong there. So the question of being partisan has been long resolved in my teens before many of you were conceived.
The stories my children and yours will hear and read in books soon to be released will be that ‘SEGUN SEGA AWOSANYA the son of Susana & M. Adebanjo left a sustainable Legacy. Nothing beats knowing your purpose. A Gold Fish seeking to climb trees longs to gasp & perish. Selah
For the time, effort, money and emotional strain the advocacy has cost me, my family and wonderful team of patriots that have spent years of their lives working with me on making the future better for all our children (including the sheltered kids of the political elites)...
...I know better that to mortgage our combined sacrifices on the altar of petty politics of interests, where objectivity has no meaning but perceived as a device through which the populace gets indoctrinated and hoodwinked. These words won’t mean much now until later.
For clarity, Distinguished @jimiagbaje does not belong to the political class neither does @BOGbadamosi which is why I find it easier to sit with any of them and talk about development. Both have proven themselves by building a formidable brand over the years. #EducatedElites
Everything is not politics. All through yesterday’s event even with the opportunity granted JK to speak, he never hijacked the Programme to sell himself. He did not at anytime mention his being in any political race for office. He was a guest & left as one.
For many months now BOG and I have been reviewing solutions and thesis to unshackle Lagos. This has nothing to do with political office as it remains inevitable that Lagos being one of the largest cities in the world would one day stop being the property of one man.
We need not mire ourselves in the mud of petty politics to understand these facts as enlightened people, especially with the wisdom of these elders and the energy of ‘No Ones’ like my kind. When the time comes, all will come to light but we must raise the bar & see differently.
