Mueller just filed an update to the court alleging Manafort breached his plea deal by lying to investigators after having agreed to fully cooperate.
As such, they appear to be moving toward accelerating his sentencing.

Manafort was not scheduled to be sentenced until January or February but this filing appears to potentially push that date up.
In addition, Mueller appears to be planning to include evidence of these additional crimes in a follow-up document.

Impossible to know whether Manafort lied because:
1) He was trying to cover for others
2) Never intended to cooperate
3) Got cold feet
...or some other reason.
What’s clear though is that he will now almost certainly die in jail - barring a change.

This is just nutty. He basically hooked himself up for a conviction on some charges; the presumption of guilt on others; and the inability to escape any of the prison time.
If he thought he was pulling a fast one, he just entirely blew himself up.

He has all but given up. He knows he’s gonna die in prison and played all of this so wrong, it’s too late to unring the bell.

Now, the gov. is going to go full Bernie Madoff and seize everything they can.
His family is going to lose every asset connected to him.
He just screwed his wife and kids.
