My critical practice is transnational regulatory arbitrage as a means to expose and eradicate digital colonialism and it’s totally working. For realz.

USA needs a GDPR. Europe is decades ahead of us and the next Congress needs to catch up. The FTC has clearly failed to protect America’s personal data. Our approach to privacy was a mistake. Time to admit it. Time to get serious.
When we discovered that US voter data was processed by Cambridge Analytica in the UK we realized we could complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office. There is no such equivalent in the US. What if Cambridge Analytica hadn’t exported our data to UK?
My personal highlight of 2018: Realizing the work of 2017 had paid off. The world’s first criminal prosecution of Cambridge Analytica is because a simple filing with the UK ICO. Turns out, my Independence Day. Essentially, why is a British company interfering with my elections?

Cohen knows this cycle as well as anyone & better than most: Disclose something horrible that Trump said/did in private; all decent people express outrage; the deplorables react to evidence of "PC culture" by digging in, doubling down, & lining up behind Trump w/ renewed fervor.
Nothing animates the deplorables like people objecting to Trump's malice.

(2) First off let's explain what the hell is going on here. Brett Kavanaugh's finances are super suspicious. Kavanaugh makes about $250K as a judge and from lecturing at Harvard, but he also owes on a $1.2 million home that has been refinanced twice.
