Suite à cet échange sur Rawls, m'est revenu en tête ce dessin que nous avait présenté les Pr Bomel il y a quelques années, comparant 4 points de vue sur la répartition des richesses...
point de vue égalitariste : maximiser le revenu total sous contrainte que chacun ait le même revenu
point de vue de Rawls : maximiser le revenu des plus pauvres
point de vue utilitariste : maximiser la somme des revenus (bien qu'il s'agisse d'une vision réductrice de l'utilitarisme)
point de vue oligarchique : maximiser le revenu des plus riches
Il est évident que la forme de la ligne rouge, la frontière des répartitions atteignables, est déterminante. Il me semble qu'elle est assez réaliste.
