You can’t risk sending your child to the horrible public primary school near you so you’re paying exorbitant fees for a good primary school and your baby is sitting in traffic for 3 hours everyday but the people running for office think what you care about is free fucking WiFi.
Mega city my ass. Public services are all a joke. From the police to water management to health services to public housing to public education and transport networks.
Millions of Lagosians every week have their underaged houseboys and house girls trooping behind them carrying bags bigger than them. There are brothels al over the city where teenage and preteen girls are put to work and it’s not hidden. The city doesn’t care about children.
Plus APC plus PDP candidate. I’m so unconvinced either one cares. Over 10 million people here, and everyday, getting in and out of your home alive, physically unharmed and “unscammed” is a bloody miracle but the two main contenders are acting likeit’s all business as usual.
