1) It's delivered well, with charm & confidence. But it's utter horseshit

Let's play back what he said:
"We will be perfectly OK with a 'managed' no deal but if we aren't prepared to walk away we'll get a bad deal"

So, what does that mean?
2) a "managed" no deal? What does that mean? It means an orderly #Brexit, which means a deal! It may be a narrow deal but it's still a deal, a set of agreements with the EU.

So a "managed no deal" is like "warm ice" or "a smart brexiter" - it doesn't exist, it cannot
3) "have to be prepared to walk away", well OK, but if you are prepared to walk away you might end up walking away, which means no managed exit, which means all that "don't worry about no deal" was nonsense

1) There is one reason why remainers have "bashed Corbyn" and its this

Because its always been obvious that Labour represented a large & growing Remain group, and that Corbyn was pro #Brexit, working against that Remain attitude

2) Corbyn "Remainers" have continously reinterpreted Corbyn's words, projected their beliefs onto him, pressed on "the long game", stated "he's just following policy", said "he hasn't the numbers" and generally gone through hoops to avoid the obvious truth - Corbyn is a brexiter
3) instead of making statements like "#FBPE is a Corbyn bashing cult" it would be more honest to recognise that Corbyn is against his party & membership on #Brexit, the biggest issue of the age, and always has been. And this is a disgrace

1) the Main democratic outrage of #Brexit was the question

There's lots of talk about how a #PeoplesVote would be a democractic outrage but the reality is the major democratic disaster was the Leave/Remain referendum question

And sooner or later we're going to have to face it
2) the problem is "Leave" as an option is a blank canvas, but when examined it always, in any analysis, breaks out into at least 2 very different versions
a) a deal which prioritises the economy over sovereignty
b) a deal which does the reverse
And they are irreconcilable
3) and the entire reason for the mess that we're in now is because sufficient numbers of public figures have been too cowardly, cynical or stupid to accept this fundamental division in Leave options

Okay it's four hours later & I'm still furious about this. Let's talk about why. 1) This large university claims it cannot make a physical accommodation for a guest speaker, even though she requested it well in advance (& they're the ones who invited her, for heavens sake).
Their offer, instead of providing a wheelchair, is to chauffeur the speaker around campus so she doesn't have to walk as much. Unless they plan to drive her into the building & onto the stage where she'll be speaking, this is a laughable solution.
Why can't they come up with a wheelchair? It can't be due to funds: this is a D1 school that pays its head football coach millions of dollars a year, so surely they could scratch together the hundo or so it would take to go buy a wheelchair at Walgreens.

To repeat: Fine, if walking away leaves status quo. Walking away from Brexit talks means cliff edge and furthest distance from status quo
