I took the official alignment quiz and answered all questions as I personally would (keeping in mind that the hypotheticals' settings were medieval). This the result I've consistently gotten for a while now, and I think it explains why I find Trump so abhorrent and such a threat.
TEST/ So here's a link to the official alignment test, by which you can use a set of medieval-themed hypotheticals to tell you what sort of person *you* are. I really spent time on each question, trying to imagine myself—as I am—in the situation described. wizards.com/default.asp?x=…
PS/ I have a theory that many different types of personalities find Trump abhorrent, but that it's those of us with a LAWFUL NEUTRAL alignment that are truly *driven up a wall* by a man who believes in nothing and threatens the very foundation of our government with his venality.
PS2/ And yes, there's no question whatsoever that Trump is CHAOTIC EVIL. Feel free to take the test using the answers you think Trump would give, and I think it'll be very clear that—his unhealthy obsession with his father aside—he's unmoored by anything but craven self-interest.
SOURCE/ Okay, get all the jokes about this guy's furry vest out of your system, and then (if you wish) watch this video to understand the difference between LAWFUL, NEUTRAL and CHAOTIC ethoi. Please don't be too hard on him—he seems like a good sort to me.
SOURCE/ And here's the difference (in one particular view) between GOOD, NEUTRAL, and EVIL ethoi (alignments):
PS3/ One thing about the GOOD, NEUTRAL and EVIL video I just posted is that it presumes a pretty unjust—medieval—legal system. For instance, in America mitigating circumstances *do* save people from harsher punishments daily—so a LAWFUL NEUTRAL ethos would incorporate that value.
