I have _no idea_ how Amazon works. I was delighted when loads of people RTed stuff about 100 Games this week, but Amazon taking 1 week plus to ship is disappointing. I can cope with the responsibility of marketing my published work, but I feel a bit powerless over distribution!
FWIW, I'm really sorry I keep coming out here on the beg for you all to buy the book. The truth is, for authors who aren't massive names, 90% of marketing after launch month comes down to us peddling our wares online, hoping we don't alienate folks by talking like salespeople.

Just had my first proper advert dad moment going through departures at berlin-tegel. After 5 minutes of confusion over what to do with the baby's pushchair, the security lads politely commanded me to fully disassemble it, as a massive queue of waiting businessmen watched on.
We'd already held everyone up for ages, so I was feeling acutely anxious, & suddenly the pressure of the moment folded some valve of my brain completely shut. I forgot all my German, most of my English, & every conception of the pushchair as something more than an abstract shape.
I was just sort of pawing at the joints of the thing, making quiet, plaintive honking sounds - all my memory of the infernal engine's folding mechanism had vanished like snow before piss, but I figured I could postpone humiliation by at least *miming* that I was putting it down.

Ok. Breaking for food until 7, then I'll be back online. This game is pretty baffling so far and I keep dying of thirst, but I really liked making a friend and building a shed with them. Think I need to do some grinding and stuff next though.

Started my new year's resolution to buy #plasticfree. Thought I'd try out
@waitrose first, due to their "ethical policy".

I couldn't buy 90% of my shopping list so basically left with almost nothing.

Everything is plastic wrapped. All completely unnecessarily.
This week it looks like aubergine and mushrooms only.

I brought my own tupperware so I could buy meat and fish plastic free. They wouldn't use them to sell me the deli stuff on grounds of "health and safety"
Look at this nonsense. Waitrose suppliers have actually actively moved away from glass to put oil in Faux glass containers. All of these are plastic.

#Christmas is a day of remembrance and strengthening family bonds. The border wall behind me cuts those bonds. It disintegrates families seeking inalienable dignity.

It is a monument to bigotry, a piece of physical xenophobia.
The picture is from my trip to Tijuana in August when I spent a few days advising asylum seekers. I am standing on the Mexican side, but technically inside the US.

Here, hope and despair run feverishly as two turbulent rivers, each vying for victory in these roaring rapids.
Tonight, entire families hunker down in a tent city not a hundred yards from where this picture was taken, their futures deliberately made cruelly uncertain, and still our government throws up more walls of bureaucracy designed to break the spirit under a huge "closed" sign.

It's #NationalComingOutDay, I've had the flag colors in my icon for awhile, but yeah, I'm bi. I have a lot of imposter syndrome about it because I'm monogamous and married to a man, but I'm still bi.
It's been hard to sort out over the years because with women, do I like how they look because I want to look that way? Do I like how they look because I want to draw them? Or is it because I want to smooch them? Interacting and overlapping.
But like, my attraction to men (and of course other genders) is like that as well. Sometimes someone is attractive and it just means I want to look at them or make art of them. I am very visual and that only sometimes has to do with who I want to smooch.

Some people circulated by Private information on social media including in whatsapp groups that he is running Twitter handle Ibne sena. They even targeted my family and it made me to file police complaint in Srinagar. I have never seen any police station before in my life. 1/5
I filed my complaint but unfortunately Police officer was not there i hand over my complaint to another cop. After few hours i got a call from police station that Police officer asked you to report tomorrow to police station regarding your written complaint.
It was my first experience to visit any police station, when i enter there a cop without uniform start asking me useless questions i refused to answer his questions he went to officer and said Sir Some stone pelters are outside they want to meet you.
