Like Rice, kidney beans, pasta, flour, dried milk, salt and spices etc. Buy fresh fruit and veg as cheaply as possible also meat/poultry. Get your personal papers and valuables together in a safe place in case you have to pack and move quickly.

This Shutdown does not have to be held just now. Before Christmas Bill's had been passed and agreed to - it is Trump that is refusing to even sign them off now. He is using YOU and YOUR family's ability to earn your pay as a ransom. He's already stated /11

By keeping federal courts staying closed he can delay a reckoning for his poor leadership, criminal activities and treasonous actions with Russia.

A desperate man. Whether you are Democrat or Republican or not affiliated with any party it doesn't matter his unnecessary actions are a disgusting display of selfishness that is having realtime harmful effects on hundreds of thousands of people across the USA I haven't /14
Seen or heard a good enough explanation to justify any of it so far either. Trump hasn't even decided on what style of 'wall/fence/barrier' he wants, or where he's going to build it or how long that will be yet. He's not even used the money he got last year! So again, /15
Why? Why now? Why not allow the Bill's that have nothing to do with his wall to go through, thus letting the likes of you get back to work? Don't just blindly blame the other side - ask the hard questions, get the reasoning from the experts - the lawyers, the known facts /16
