Speaker at this People’s Assembly rally says Theresa May ‘should shoot herself’. Uncomfortable to hear that kind of rhetoric, especially after the week we’ve had. Waiting to speak next (on the right of the pic) is John McDonnell 
One of the organizers says the speaker was Weyman Bennett from Stand Up To Racism. He said May should shoot herself because of her role in the ‘Hostile Environment’ policy

Funny thing - Steve Turner, Unite’s Asst General Sec and national chair of the People’s Assembly, says he didn’t hear the ‘shoot herself’ remark. He was the one who introduced Bennett - and he’s yards away in that pic. ‘I can’t comment because I didn’t heard it’ he told me
I found three teen activists from Pembrokeshire who said they heard the remark - and cheered it!

Here's the video of Weyman Bennett's speech - fwiw I should point out he actually tells Theresa May to 'shoot yourself' rather than calling for her to 'shoot herself' as I tweeted. Maybe that's why the organiser said he hadn't heard it
