story time: tom hiddleston was on my flight back home and i had a long ass conversation with him
so the entire day i was so sad that i didn’t go to ace on sunday because i had the funds to meet tom again but i didn’t end up going. the entire day i was bummed out and so exhausted so me and my boyfriend just went to the airport early
our flight was at 11:45 pm and we got to the terminal around 7:30. we started talking with these two guys who also went to ace for literally 3 hours. at around 10:30 i went to the bathroom and my bf texted me saying we were boarding early so i ran back
we were boarding group 3 so the four of us were just hanging out. they announce business class members to start boarding and i look over and see tom standing there for his flight and i FREEZE
i’m like “guys thats tom!!” and we were standing kinda far off so they were all like “nah thats not him” but i’m like bitch tf i KNOW that’s him because that’s his blue sweater
oh ps he was wearing black jeans, gray boots, the blue sweater, a black wool coat and a cute little baseball hat and he didn’t have his glasses on uwu
SO he gets on the plane and i’m still shook as hell. when we finally board, we get in behind business class so i couldn’t see if he was in there. i was watching the first class area to see if he was there but at the angle i was at, i couldn’t see anything
BUT THEN I SEE HIM OH GOD HE STANDS UP AND TAKES OFF HIS HAT AND RUNS HIS HAND THROUGH HIS HAIR AND LAUGHS AND IM LIKE “ITS TOM I TOLD YOU”
now i must live with the knowledge that tom hiddleston is 8 rows in front of me for 4 hours and i can’t do anything about it so thats fun
so the entire flight i’m just trembling like tom is RIGHT THERE and i can’t even sleep knowing this. i decide to get up for the bathroom and the bathroom is right behind first class and i peek through the curtain and he’s standing at the front of the plane stretching (i died)
i go to the bathroom and come out and peek again and he sat down with a blanket over him and i am: soft! i love he!
FAST FORWARD the plane lands and everyone gets up and i put my phone on record video to try and spot him on camera because i need proof sis! but alas, too many people were moving around and my camera caught nothing i’m pretty sure
so tom leaves and me and my bf leave the plane a few minutes later and i just assume thats it and its gonna be a cute little story to tell

my bf and i walk to baggage claim for our flight because thats where my dad is gonna meet us. we see my dad and start talking and my dad says “oh how cool you were on a flight with tom! thats your boy!”. i laugh and i was like “yeah that was awesome”
i hear someone laugh behind me and i turn around. and what do i know. its tom fucking hiddleston
i PANIC like do i go up to him?? do i try to take a picture from far away? he’s just standing there and the bags haven’t come out yet so i say FUCK IT LETS GO
so i walk up to him and i’m like “excuse me tom?” and he turns and has this HUGE smile and he’s like “hello darling!” and i’m like “i know its very early in the morning but i was wondering if we could get a picture? i totally get it if you don’t want to!”
so he smiles and is like “i’m sorry darling but i don’t normally take photos at airports since its such a wild place. i like the calm around me” and i’m like “yeah no problem!” and he stops and says “wait i know you. i met you on saturday. you’re the poet!”
I CANNOT TELL YOU HOW MUCH I WANTED TO BREAK DOWN INTO TEARS. i was like “oh yup that was me” and he laughed and was like “i know i told you this but again, brilliant work” and i deadass almost passed out
so i thanked him and he said that at least i have my photo from saturday with him and then he started asking me about con and who i met. i told him that i went for him and he literally BLUSHED and was like “eheheh thats so sweet. i love doing these cons they’re so much fun”
i told him that he confused me big time when he crashed charlie’s panel because i was waiting on like for his photo and tom laughed and was like “oh yes did you not know i can be in two places at once?”
we started talking about charlie’s panel and betrayal and i told tom that even though i didn’t have tickets i was really excited to see it. he said he couldn’t wait to perform again and he hopes he is able to perform well and i told him he would obviously
so we talked about betrayal a bit more and then he asked if i was on his flight because he remembered seeing me waiting. i told him i was and i asked how his flight was and he said he had a hard time sleeping and he couldn’t get comfortable mY POOR BABY
we kept talking about flights and exhaustion. i didn’t wanna keep bothering him because the bags started coming out so i said “thank you for chatting with us this meant so much to me” and he was like “eheheh it was lovely talking to you too dear”
then he took my hand in his and was like “whats your name again?” and i was like “abbey!” and he smiled and said “it was lovely meeting you again, abbey. i hope to see you in the future”
i felt like a bold woman and i was like “is there any chance i could get a hug” and he laughed and was like “yes that i can give you”. i hand to stand on my toes to reach his neck and he hugged me so tight i’m still tearing up thinking about it
the entire conversation, tom was so engaged and looking into my eyes (god his eyes are so bLUE UGH) and he was laughing a lot and for someone who had such a long weekend, he looked damn good let me tell you
i may not have had the chance to see tom’s panel in person or meet him at con again today, but i had the most amazing and intimate experience with him. he was so nice and caring and anyone who says otherwise is lying
tom didn’t need to talk to me for a whole 15 minutes (my dad timed it apparently) but he did. he was tired but he still talked to me and made me feel loved. i’m so thankful i got to meet him like this and i’m blessed i finally got my hug ajdkdkskdm
also!! my dad took pictures of me talking to him but i won’t post them bc he didn’t want to take any pictures in the first place. i’m respecting his only request, i hope you understand!! maybe in a few days i’ll tweet them but for now the only people who have seen them are my gc
