The consistent reaching to try to smear Mallory and Sarsour has been happening throughout their entire careers and takes focus away from the incredible organizing work they’ve done. It’s messed up and we should talk about it more.
Also why is McCain focusing on this when Women’s March announced a 32-person steering committee yesterday that includes Jewish leaders, queer and trans women, Native and Latina women, etc etc? These NEW leaders deserve more attention than old Farrakhan who’ll die soon anyway
Maybe instead of asking Tamika Mallory to condemn Farrakhan for the 1,000th time, ask about @AbbyChavaStein — the trans ex-Hasid Jewish educator who just joined the Women’s March steering committee. 
Or ask about Women’s March steering committee member @anbaskin, former president of the Jewish Multiracial Network and member of several other Jewish organizing groups...instead of beating this Farrakhan issue to death again and again
I would much rather talk about the incredible lesbian and trans women on the new @womensmarch steering committee than ever hear Farrakhan’s name again. Let’s talk about Ruby Sales, Bamby Salcedo, Kerri Evelyn Harris, Abby Stein etc. Let’s talk about the FUTURE.
