Seen this viral tweet? I love Fleetwood Mac, but it feels disrespectful to take video of these women, re-dub it with an all-white rock band, and turn them into a meme. I wondered who they were and what they were REALLY marching to, so did some digging…
There were over 122k RTs and over 3,100 replies to that tweet, but only one person, @LisaLewisNSC, correctly identified them.
With that info, I was able to find the source video on an Instagram fan account for the Golden Girls, the pioneering dance squad at Mississippi's Alcorn State University, accompanied by the Sounds of Dyn-O-Mite marching band. instagram.com/p/BgVB0YNB0jp/

Guidelines for all schools in Scotland are due to be rolled out next year include informing 5 year olds they can choose their gender. This is a thread with some extracts from the draft.
"Your gender is what you decide. You might be a boy or a girl".
This is aimed at Level 1, recommended to be suitable for P2 onwards or perhaps sooner in some cases. Primary 2 children are 5 & 6 year olds.
