My brother graduated from this all boys catholic school in Northern KY. He was harassed and ridiculed to literally within an inch of his life. I see nothings changed. Shame on you @CovCathColonels
I remember one time my dad and I were waiting in the car to pick him up from school, after a while my dad sent me in to find him, he was backed up against some lockers, fists clenched, w/4 guys around him. When he saw me, he immediately b-lined around them.
They pushed him from behind as he was trying to get me out of the door.

“FUCKING FAGGOT” they yelled as loud as they could.

I’ll never forget his face. I can’t even imagine what it would’ve been like if he actually WERE gay. 😓
Finally @CovCathColonels please quit begging us for money. It’s VALUES and human decency you need more of, not money.
Fun fact: they refer to the all girls school across the street (Notre Dame) as “The whores on the hill”.

SUPER happy you gentlemen made it to the “March For Life”. I’m sure you’ll make some unlucky women very miserable one day 🤗
Ive gotten so many supportive comments from kind souls asking about my brother now.

My brother took his life shortly after graduating from Cov Cath. I wanted to make that clear bc I hate letting you down individually. Not every story has a happy ending,but I try & live 4us both

1. What’s a blindingly white Southern woman laying down what may be a monster MLK Day thread? To wit, the vernacular says it best: I’m gonna learnt you a thing or three. Pull up a chair and a glass of sweet tea while I bust the Hades out of some false narratives.
2. The South was a hotbed generational racism at the time of MLK. But not every Caucasian was a racist. Long before white activists were bused in from the North, there were homegrown white folk fighting against institutional racism.
3. How do I know this? I know my Daddy. Long, long before the civil rights movement my Dad refused to recognize strictly enforced societal rules and Jim Crow laws. I’ll tell his story as you’ll never hear it from him.
