If we go through all this effort to pass legislation for a three month extension, we might as well all give up. That's so hopelessly inadequate next to the challenge we face. It solves nothing. It's a waste of fucking time.
It doesn't take no-deal off the table. It barely delays it. MPs have got to get over their fear of the referendum result.
Any extension is also useless, and possibly will be rejected, if MPs don't figure out what it's for. That means the Grieve amendment is essential.
They need some blocked out time to sort their shit out and for the anti-no-deal majority to congeal around an alternative.
If they don't recognise the necessity of that now, and the severity of failure, then fucking God help them.
