Homeless man at 7-11 asked for money, I offered food, he happily accepted, came inside picked out a few items, handed to me & said he’d wait outside. In line a Latino construction worker handed me $2 and smiled, then an old woman gave me 75¢. Point: it is still a beautiful world. 
When I handed the homeless man his egg salad sandwich, 2 liter of Coke and banana (i’d suggested water he said CA bottles shit and rips you off🤣) I told him it was from all of us inside he gave me a toothless grin and said: “thank you all for seeing me”
PS- Sharing because in the current climate some would have you believe we’re a society divided and on the brink of chaos but in the real world we know how to come together and make shit work, don’t ever let the rhetoric make you think otherwise #Merica
