There are different kinds of people in the Twitterosphere. Those who will never accept responsibility for their foolish decisions and would rather find means to push the “they are all guilty” narrative just to avoid accepting their lack of being a good judge of character.
We have created & adopted a culture of lowering the bar for our sentiments sake & we miraculously expect better while making excuses for failure and defending inanities. For those we loathe performances are compared with best practices but for those we like it is with the worst.
I understand that many prance around leaving digital footprints of always liwering expectations so that their mediocre effort is seen as acceptable. The rulership Of now have mastered this art & their followers have made it a Religion. How do we then expect better of them?
For those trapped in the downward cycle it is my prayer for you to raise your expectations and climb out of the chasm. This is the only way we can raise the bar and hold leaders to account while forcing them raising performance. This shouldn’t mean that you hate them.
I wonder till date how supposedly intelligent people feel sane justifying the none performance by GMB after so much noise, by relentlessly trying to match his blunders with one thing or the other under GEJ’s admin. If GEJ is your standard why not accept the blunder of 2015?
