Parents: keep the men on the cc list for organizing kids stuff, thanks.
For one thing, some guys (like @cb) are more reliable participants than their partners. But even if some dudes never do anything, for whatever reason, they should be made aware how much weight their partner and others carry. Thanks.
In two-parent households, partners trade of responsibilities and skills, but why assume women in cishet relationships are on point for all kid stuff. NO.
Sure, sometimes I back channel one person in a two-parent household. But for big organizing efforts, keep me the men on—especially if you're a woman. Or things will never change.
Oh and two parent households (or co-parents not under same roof but involved) we can do more to support those who are alone in their child rearing and organizing duties.
