Just seeing a glimpse of #InsideEurope about Cameron's negotiation - last three and a half years of my life flashing before my eyes...definitely worth a full watch like the rest of the series
I remember being rushed up in a goods lift for a last minute interview with PM when they finally thought they had a deal, after Merkel had gone for chips, then it got suddenly moved, then news of Gove going to lead Vote Leave came through... then, the rest....
rather a lot of which feels often like a bit of a blur, so lucky #bbcnewsten is on in a minute to make it all clear!

1. Here’s a thing - altho ERG decided not to back Brady last night, one senior member of group says they might still back it to pave way for the Morgan/Mogg plan, depending what PM says at despatch box
2. They say it depends on whether she is ‘strong and bold’ - and says way Govt has said privately since middle of last week and Liam Fox said explicitly this morn - they will try to reopen the divorce deal
3. In other words what will actually be said in the debate tonight will really matter (novel!)

1. Once more with feeling - welcome to another week when Parliament might, or might not, make up its collective mind on how it would like us to leave the EU
2. That might mean giving the PM's deal a fair crack if one of its central features is removed, or moved (some would say fat chance)
3. For others that means creating, and taking control of the brakes in case the govt can't get its act together by the end of next month

1. Interesting, another move from No 10 to show its mind as well as the black door is open to ideas from Brexit critics - they've just announced a consultation to increase protection of rights of new parents going back to work
2. That's promises of environmental protections, these parental rights now, and the EU citizens' fee being scrapped - PM seems eager to show that when MP s go in and explain their positions they might get something out of it but they have a long, long way to go
3. Biggest piece of jigsaw is still to get something new on the backstop - and note, No 10 not expecting anything before the next vote on Tuesday altho EU is clearly doing a less good job than usual as sticking to one line!

Last nights was one of those nights when one felt proud to be a Democrat and a Nigerian - and not just because PDP took a step closer to returning to power but because the interest of Nigerians in the #2019Debate shows that this is a country we all so badly want to be proud of.
The beauty of our Democracy was laid bare for all to see and feel: candidates pitching ideas against ideas, thinking fast on their feet, jousting intellectually, jabbing and parrying, learning and making mental notes - all while we, the Citizens watched and evaluated.
The campaign season is a season where candidates assiduously court the voters - a brief moment where we as citizens can feel empowered, knowing that they’re deploying all their skills just to win our support and debates are best for this: even semi-literates were plugged in.

Imagine seeing the days around your birth. Recalling images from google street view. House your parents lived in, the hospital, the road to the hospital, your exact time of birth, the weather, sure you've heard of the weather the day you were born. Your dad passing out cigars...
This just happened in my mind, a quick mindblowing visualization out of the blue. Like I was dream-watching a movie. Put together by visual knowledge of what was, when, and where, and whom. Even though this is not your memory, how could it be? Pure imagination.
Sometimes images can be scary. Is this going to attach itself as a MEMORY in my mind now? What if it was exactly as I just imagined, so fast out of the blue. Like MY LIFE flashing before my eyes. Can you die for a split second and come back? Some babies arrive and leave at once.
