I lost my son to DIPG, the deadliest form of childhood cancer. Trump proposes $750 billion for war and $5.7 for a racist border wall while trying to slash the NIH budget, and proposing even less than the $1.8 bil cancer moon shot Congress just passed. 2/
Parents of children with cancer, and those who have lost their kids to cancer, are not props to be used in a bid to make him seem compassionate. Childhood cancer attracts only 4% of research dollars Bc pharma companies can’t profit enough from making drugs for kids. 3/
Meanwhile, many parents of children with cancer have to beg for money online to care for their kids, while Trump and Repubs wants to repeal ACA guarantees of coverage for pre-existing conditions so that our kids can be denied care altogether. Screw his phony compassion. 4/end
