CBS runs this story on SSCI. I recognize that @DawsonSField's case may hold water. I don't know how many times I've rejected Dawson's theories only to come back later and accept them. I'm not 100% there with Warner = White Hat, but still ... cbsnews.com/news/richard-b…
Now to explain the matter of James Wolfe. He was removed from SSCI in December 2017 -- the same month he made false statements to the FBI regarding his relationships with reporters. I wonder if that is when the "real work" of SSCI really started ramping up.
December 2017 was certainly an inflection point. During that month

1. Judge Contreras forcibly recused from Flynn case
2. First public reports of Strzok/Page texts
3. Bruce Ohr demoted
4. First reports that Nellie Ohr worked for FusionGPS
5. Grassley calls for McCabe's firing
