1/ Mueller says that Stone's case is related to the GRU case that indicted several Russians.
2/ We shouldn't forget that Stone was mentioned (albeit not by name) in the GRU indictment for his contacts with Guccifer 2.0 (GRU conspirators). justice.gov/file/1080281/d… 
3/ Interesting that Guccifer 2.0 reached out to Stone on Aug 15, 2016. That's the same day the NYT published the "black ledger" allegations that Manafort rec'd millions in under the table cash payments. (Leshchenko provided the "black ledger" to the NYT) nytimes.com/2016/08/15/us/…
4/ Sam Nunberg said that after Manafort left, Stone was "persona non-grata" at the Trump campaign. If Guccifer 2.0's contact had occurred any later, even the thin reed connecting Stone to Trump would have been non-existant.
