About six years ago, I picked up a book on Kashmiri idioms and proverbs. I had always heard them but never paid close attention to how delightfully visual they were. I had a lot of free time, so I began sketching them. Here is a compilation of my favourites. #kashmiriproverbs

But there are inspirational ones too.
And some filled with love for the land and for home.
