By the way, rumor has it this Saikat Chakrabarti, @AOC's chief of staff, is the mastermind behind managing @AOC's social media persona and policy positions. Regardless, I have to say her behind-the-scenes operation is top-notch in terms of campaign management.
It is almost a given that one of the Democratic presidential contenders is going to steal @AOC's campaign team, if not during the primaries (the team may not want to risk tagging on to a loser), then definitely after the primaries. That's when AOC falls apart. Stay tuned.

Friends, you might see some misguided memes (see @glennbeck's tweet below) impugning @AOC's Chief of Staff, Saikat Chakrabarti (@saikatc), of being some sort of a Nazi sympathizer, b/c he is wearing a T with Subhas Chandra Bose on it. This is a heinous smear. 1/
Saikat Chakrabarti (@saikatc) is not only @AOC's CoS, he is also her social media Svengali, so the temptation to smear him runs high, but let us keep it to opposition to @AOC's policy initiatives. Subhas Chandra Bose was a hero in India's struggle for freedom from the British. 2/
Bose's connection with Hitler and Japanese is complicated and not at all what the smears imply. He met with Hitler once, and his one and only interest was to collaborate with anyone who would help to free India from the British -- like the Allies collaborating with Stalin. 3/x

Thousands of Hindu devotees take dips at Sangam, the confluence of three sacred rivers, the Yamuna, the Ganges and the mythical Saraswati, during the Kumbh Mela Festival, in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh state, India.
2. What you see in the above picture is just a very, very, small part of the gathering. No single picture can possibly capture the size of the gathering during this festival, which takes place only once every 12 years.
3. The festival is the largest peaceful gathering in the world, and considered as the "world's largest congregation of religious pilgrims." An estimated 120 million people visited the last Kumbh Mela in over a two-month period, including over 30 million on a single day.

@AOC claims that at the Green New Deal FAQ was “an early draft” accidentally posted. Someone sent me the information from the PDF: It was created by AOC’s Chief of staff Saikat Chakrabarti at 10:09.
@AOC Did Chakrabarti accidentally create a PDF of a draft and then accidentally post it? Did AOC accidentally keep up the FAQ for hours and hours while critics were dissecting it and forget to mention it was a draft?

Look what I found: @NPR has the original FAQs on the #GreenNewDeal from @AOC including the "unwilling to work" provision and thing about... cows. The document IDs the author of the FAQs: "Saikat Chakrabarti" (@saikatc), @AOC's Chief of Staff.

One of the great challenges of covering the Trump Org is that nobody--not one person--knew all the things Trump was doing and had agreed to.

Each deal, each business idea, was assigned to somebody who wouldn't tell others.

1.
The currency of Trump-world was proximity to the boss and the number of boss-assigned projects handled.

Trump was the only person who was aware of all the things he had assigned. But his memory was lousy and his attention to detail non existent.

2.
This was, perhaps, a smart way to run a business built on shady deals. It's how the mob has been run at times.

But it is terrifying for it to be the way the WH is run.

If Trump has no Chief of Staff, there is, essentially, no government. No administration.
