True for me and all Asians in the US whose parents/grandparents came in the post-1965 immigrant waves too.

But immigration rights aren’t the only debt we owe to black activists. Voting, fair housing, educational access: Our rights are rooted in the battles they fought and won.
And this. Made even worse when we think of areas East and South Asians have succeeded in due to access black activists fought for, yet where East and South Asians are dismissing persistent inequalities blacks face. Like college admissions and tech hiring.
